I've tried to reuse the math font for regular text digits but failed, for somewhat petty reasons.
(MathJax's TeX font, which you probably see above, has no bold italic;
Latin Modern has 4 variants but wasoo light compared to text;
STIX font in which some users see math has the 4 variants but is Times-styled).
I also tried using monospace digits in Georgia but they are too widely set apart —
digit-digit spacing was weirdly big compared to text-text and text-digit.
